Music Students Selected for NYSSMA All-State

Amherst Central High School students were selected for NYSSMA All-State competitions.

Selected for 2024 Conference All-State
Five students from Amherst Central High School have been selected to participate in the prestigious NYSSMA Conference All-State, an exceptionally competitive music festival that draws top musicians from across New York State. This recognition is a significant achievement, as it places these students among the best high school musicians in the state. After rigorous auditions and being chosen from thousands of applicants, these students will perform in elite ensembles such as the All-State Orchestra, Band, and Chorus. Students selected are Cameron Tillou, french horn, symphonic band; Jonah McCormick, cello, alternate; Max Goldhirsch, baritone, alternate; Ryan Blatz, bass, alternate; Megan Guercio, soprano, alternate.
